THIS IS HOME.

I grew up in Clover and graduated from Clover High School. My wife, Cameron, grew up here, too, and when it came time to build a life and raise a family, there was never a question about where we wanted to do it.

Today, we’re raising our son in the same community that raised us. Clover isn’t just where we live. It’s home, and I’ve always believed that being part of a community means being willing to give something back to it.

I grew up with public service all around me. I watched my dad serve this community, including as mayor of Clover, while my mom spent her career in education with CSD. Their example taught me that if you care about the place you call home, you don’t just stand on the sidelines. You find a way to contribute.

FOUR YEARS OF SERVICE

The past four years have been a period of significant growth and change for the Clover School District. During my first term, the Board has worked through major decisions involving new schools, district growth, finances, staffing, safety and academics while planning for the long-term needs of our community.

GROWTH & NEW SCHOOLS

CSD opened three new campuses on schedule to address continued enrollment growth and overcrowding. The district has also managed new attendance lines and the movement of students and staff while adding more than 500,000 square feet of new facilities to operate and maintain.

FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP

Rapid growth has brought significant financial challenges, including the cost of staffing and operating new schools, maintaining existing facilities, rising employee benefit costs and inflation. The Board has worked through these pressures while balancing the needs of students and employees with the impact of additional operating costs on local taxpayers.

TEACHERS & STAFF

Starting teacher pay has reached $51,500, while CSD has continued working to recruit and retain quality teachers and support staff. The district has also expanded staffing and course offerings in high-demand areas, including career and technical education programs.

SAFETY & SECURITY

CSD has an SRO at every school and has added additional layers of security, including grant-funded mobile detection equipment and randomized K9 and detector sweeps. In district survey results, 92.3% of parents reported that their child's school is safe.

ACADEMICS & OPPORTUNITY

CSD continues to produce strong academic outcomes while expanding opportunities for students. Recent results include 89.2% of students college or career ready, a 90% AP pass rate and 4,635 dual-enrollment credit hours, alongside continued growth in CTE and workforce pathways.
